Roller derby with the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls
Denver was very much at the forefront of the revival of roller derby in the early 2000s. Among those quite literally leading the charge were the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls, which was founded in August 2004. We sent along our roller skating sensation, Richard Fleming, to see if he had what it takes.
