ALTITUDE SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2024-25 COLORADO AVALANCHE BROADCAST SCHEDULE
DENVER—Altitude Sports announced today it will broadcast a total of 69 games for the Colorado Avalanche in the upcoming 2024-25 NHL season. Altitude Sports, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a network, will broadcast its first regular season game on Saturday, October 12th for the Avalanche home-opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ball Arena.
As previously announced, every Altitude Sports broadcast of the Colorado Avalanche will be available to in-market fans on Altitude+, the new streaming home of Altitude Sports which will debut on web and iOS and Android devices in October. Altitude+ will be offered as a direct-to-consumer streaming service for $19.95 per month and will also be available as a TV Everywhere (TVE) service at no additional cost for customers who currently subscribe to a TV package from a distribution partner that includes Altitude Sports. The 2024-25 Altitude Sports broadcast team will include Marc Moser as the team’s TV play-by-play announcer for his 9th season, and Mark Rycroft returns for his 2nd season as color analyst. Kyle Keefe will host the pregame and postgame shows throughout the season. Former Avalanche players John-Michael Liles, John Mitchell, Yan Stastny as well as other guests, will serve as analysts for those programs.
Altitude Sports also announced that it has partnered with TEGNA (NYSE: TGNA) stations 9News (KUSA-TV) and My20 (KTVD-TV) to broadcast the Altitude Sports game productions of 20 Avalanche games this season. Each broadcast will include pre- and postgame shows and is available free over-the-air within the Denver DMA. For in-market fans located outside of the Denver DMA, these games will be available on Altitude Sports and Altitude+.
Altitude Sports will be launching a new documentary-style program, A360, that will debut on Thursday, October 17th at 7:30pm. This bi-weekly show will alternate each episode between Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche themed content, capturing the players and coaches behind the scenes and telling stories that can’t be seen anywhere else in the Rocky Mountain region. Live radio Avalanche broadcasts can be heard on Altitude Sports Radio 92.5FM with select games airing on 950AM.
